Last February was my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday–looks like she’ll be celebrating another come next year! Every year we live is a celebration, is it not?

It’s funny about how we view age. When we’re young, 50 sounds so old. Now that I’m 59, 75 doesn’t sound too bad or far away! Happy Birthday!

Awesome photo. This photo speaks volumes, in my opinion. I especially like how you focused in on the candles leaving your grandmother in the background. It made for a pretty special photo.

Jeesh – I thought I commented about this earlier but I think I just commented on the actual photo media, and not your blog. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you what a great job you did with this photo. The point of view (POV) is wonderful – I love the focus on the birthday candles with your mother-in-law bokeh’d in the background. Nice work!
